Hospice Palliative Care Team in the Annapolis Valley Seeking Volunteers

Annapolis Valley, N.S.- Are you a caring, compassionate person who wants to support individuals living with a life-limiting illness?  Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking to expand their Hospice Palliative Care Team in the Annapolis Valley to include volunteers. As a volunteer on this team, you would be expected to support patients in their home, hospital or hospice. Volunteers provide support by doing such things as listening, reading, helping to write a letter or making a cup of tea. We are looking for adults who have good communication skills, a caring attitude and are physically and mentally able to provide support to our patients and their families.
