ACADEMIC THORACIC SURGEON, DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY
DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF MEDICINE
The Department of Surgery Dalhousie University/Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking an academic Thoracic Surgeon to join the Division of Thoracic Surgery at the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The Division currently comprises four surgeons and has a 20 bed inpatient service. Expertise in advanced endoscopy would be preferred. The Division of Thoracic Surgery currently provides comprehensive care to Nova Scotia as well as Prince Edward Island and provides quaternary care to New Brunswick and Newfoundland. Applicants should be eligible for licensure in Nova Scotia and certified in Thoracic Surgery.
